Speaker: Abdullah Othman
Mr Abdullah Othman is one of the few key speakers on Islamic Science in Singapore. After pursuing his undergraduate studies in Biology at the National University of Singapore, he decided to further his studies at a Masters level at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisational in Islamic Science, under the eminent contemporary thinker, Syed Naquib Al-Attas.
Mr Abdullah is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Malaya, pursuing Islamic Education Institution studies.
He is also the current director of Andalus Corporation Pte Ltd, Cordova Education Pte Ltd, Darul Andalus Pte Ltd and Institut Pengajian Tinggi Al-Zuhri which are important private centres of Islamic education offering courses from nursery up to diploma level.

Theme: Spirituality Explored: Tiding Difficult Times With Prayer

Speaker: Al-Fadhil Ustaz Iqbal Abdullah
Ustaz Iqbal Abdullah is a free-lance Muslim missionary who is actively involved in the dakwah scene. Being one of the few Ustaz in Singapore who can confortably give lectures in the English Language, Ustaz Iqbal is well known to an English-speaking audience locally and overseas.
Ustaz Iqbal embraced Islam in 1981, and upon completion of his A Levels, he pursued his Islamic education at the International Islamic University in Pakistan and Al-Azhar University, before being a student of the eminent Yemeni scholar, Syaikh Umar Al-Khatib, for 7 years.
He is currently the principal at Azizah Chisty Quranic Centre and also teaches at various mosques. His lectures include those that center on the fields of Islamic Jurisprudence, Quranic Exegesis, hadith, Quranic recital and Tajweed, Arabic Language and group reading of traditional and contemporary Arabic books on Islam. He is also an author of several books on Islam.
